Seeking a Compassionate and Dedicated Pediatric Provider

Our well-established and thriving pediatric office is seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatrician, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative and family-centered team. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our young patients, from infancy through young adulthood, in a supportive and welcoming environment.

About the Practice

For over 20 years, our practice has been a cornerstone of the Downriver community, providing comprehensive healthcare to children and their families. We pride ourselves on building strong, trusting relationships that last for years. We offer a positive and collaborative work environment with an experienced and compassionate support team of nurses and administrative staff.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated provider to join our team, focusing on primary care in an outpatient clinic setting. Our ideal candidate is attentive, caring, and passionate about promoting the health and well-being of our pediatric population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric healthcare, including well-child exams, school physicals, and preventative care.

  • Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic pediatric illnesses, infections, and injuries.

  • Conduct developmental screenings.

  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and laboratory tests.

  • Prescribe medications and therapies appropriate for pediatric patients.

  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families on topics such as nutrition, safety, and hygiene.

  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

  • Collaborate with the care team and refer patients to specialists as needed.

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, PNP, or PA with a specialization in pediatrics.

  • Current, unrestricted state license to practice.

  • Board certification (if applicable).

  • Experience working in a pediatric clinic or with a pediatric population is preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and their families.

  • Familiarity with EHR systems.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Commitment to providing exceptional, patient-centered care.
